For the 25th time, the name’s Bond, James Bond.
Bond has left active service. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
This film will be Daniel Craig's fifth and likely final appearance as Britain’s favourite secret service agent. Given that this movie will also be Craig's fourteenth year in the role of James Bond, this will make him the longest running actor to play the character since the late Roger Moore (although Roger Moore and Sean Connery have both had seven and six official appearances in the role respectively).
I’ve loved Craig in the role and really appreciate that they added some form of continuity in what has become somewhat of a soft reboot for the franchise. It will be a shame to see him leave the role, but given his age and the injuries he sustained from Spectre, it’s unsurprising that he now wishes to bow out gracefully.
