The 9th film from Quentin Tarantino
A faded television actor and his stunt double strive to achieve fame and success in the film industry during the final years of Hollywood's Golden Age in 1969 Los Angeles.
Straight up, the cast is terrific. Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt look like they play off each other perfectly, and Margot Robbie is always great in everything I’ve seen her in thus far. And when you look at the rest of the ensemble cast; there’s so much talent lined up for this film.
The Hollywood Golden Age is also an era that I love, and placing the film right at the end of that is an intriguing setting. And whilst I’m admittedly not a huge Tarantino fan, the era just seems very fitting to his style of work.
This is definitely one that’s high on my list of films to see.
